German Kitchens, Designed and Fitted in Broughty Ferry, Dundee

Authorised Nolte Küchen partner since 1994

At Classic Design Kitchens in Broughty Ferry, Dundee, we design, supply and install bespoke German kitchens across the city, Angus and north east Fife. Every kitchen is measured and drawn by our own designers, and fitted by the same experienced fitters on every job.

With more than 40 years of combined design experience, our designers work to a simple standard: the kitchen has to work as a room, not just photograph well. We have traded here since 1994, and kitchens we installed fifteen years ago are still in daily use.

Our kitchen showroom on Dalhousie Road has five working kitchen displays and a utility display, with over thirty fully working Neff appliances. Taps run, ovens work, extraction is connected. Come and open the drawers.

From start to finish felt like we were in great hands . Whilst we bought ex display , the layout and design looks like it was made for our kitchen . Workmanship / timekeeping were exemplary , really could not be happier with the finished product . Ardle and the team were fabulous to work with , being very flexible and open to small tweaks to make the kitchen simply perfect . Thanks again . Steve & Clare

We recently used Classic Design Kitchens to carry out a substantial transformation of our existing Nolte kitchen, and we are extremely pleased with the result. As a Nolte supplier, they were able to source new units to match our existing kitchen, allowing us to enlarge and completely redesign the island while retaining the look and quality of the original installation. The work also included new island decorative panels and end panels, replacement plinths to match, new worktops throughout, a new sink and a new induction hob. What particularly impressed us was that Classic Design Kitchens took responsibility for the whole project as a turnkey installation. They coordinated the worktop supplier/ fitter, electrician and plumber, and organised the removal of the old worktops and the various stages of installation. Everything was well managed and coordinated, which made what could have been quite a disruptive project remarkably straightforward. The attention to detail was excellent, particularly in matching and integrating the new Nolte cabinetry with the existing kitchen. The finished result looks as though the enlarged island and new units were part of the original design. We are delighted with the transformation and very happy to recommend Classic Design Kitchens. It is also particularly nice to be able to support a local company providing this level of personal service, project management and workmanship.

We were recommended Classic Design Kitchens for our new build and absolutely delighted with the quality and design. Ardle thanks for your suggestions and ideas. I came in with a fixed idea of what appliances I wanted and changed my mind to two fitted ovens and an induction hob which I absolutely love. It was also great to be able to see a computerised image of what the kitchen would look like. It's good to support local business and highly recommend Classic Design Kitchens Thanks Val

We had a complete kitchen refit including, floors, doors and ceiling. The team at Classic Design were excellent. Ardle and Mark were great on the design side and Nic, Aaron and the rest of the tradesmen were meticulous and professional, and we could not be happier with the result. 10/10 would recommend

Having had a kitchen from Classic Design in our previous home, we had no hesitation in returning to Ardle in Classic Design for our kitchen in our newly renovated home. He came and looked at the kitchen site and designed it, and he gave us some great ideas and suggestions to suit what we required. He was very patient when we couldn't make decisions on our choice of units, appliances or worktops. He worked with our builder, plumber, and electrician around timescales that suited all. It is the main feature of our home and a great cooking, eating, and living area. Nik carried out the fitting of the kitchen and he did a fantastic job doing that. We would have no hesitation in recommending to anyone Classic Design for designing and fitting a kitchen. Fantastic job thanks to Ardle, Mark and Nik.

Ardle and his team are a delight to work with. From the minute we stepped into his showroom, he was welcoming and attentive. He brought the vision we had in mind for our kitchen to reality, and we are beyond happy with the final result. His team work tirelessly to ensure that we are more than happy and satisfied with the design and the final product. Mark is an excellent kitchen designer who provided us with different options and designs to help us put together our dream kitchen. We went back and forth with different colour schemes and worktop ideas, but in the end, we couldn’t have selected a more perfect and beautiful kitchen than what we have, for our home. Ardle’s whole team is fantastic. They make you feel comfortable and are exceptionally friendly. With two very young children in our home, we couldn’t have been happier with the friendly service they all provided. They worked around our schedule are were more than accommodating. But more than anything, they are all great people and their work speaks for itself. Nik is a fantastic kitchen fitter. His joinery skills are second to none and we are blown away by the final result. Thank you to all at Nolte. We are over the moon with our beautiful kitchen!

Great experience with Ardle from Classic Design Kitchens in Broughty Ferry. Right from the offset, Ardle understood clearly the theme we were aiming for in regards to our kitchen design and within days he got to work working his magic on incorporating all the ideas we had said and he had suggested. We went back a few days later to amend the design only to find we actually liked his first design better. He accommodated a few last min requests for dimensions for other trades really well and popped by a few times to double check measurements before hitting order. On the day Nik who is probably one of the best kitchen fitters in Dundee came to spend a week with us dry fitting the kitchen. No detail missed and Ardle on the phone immediately when the skirting on the island didn’t look correct and him and Nik made the decision to make it extended & different. Overall the kitchen is absolutely fantastic, well fitted and excellent designed, hopefully to last decades to come. If you’re in the market for a kitchen and don’t want the usual rubbish, this man and his showroom is the place to visit. Thanks again to all involved in our project.

From the outset the entire crew at Classic Design Kitchens were a complete pleasure to work with. Mark listened patiently and we discussed the kitchen design thoroughly. I was delighted with the outcome. The fitter, electrician and plumber were top notch and very easy to communicate with. They made sure everything was as tidy as possible and clean at the end of each day. I can recommend this company for their sheer professionalism and incredible design abilities.

This is the second project we have undertaken with Classic Design Kitchens. This one was a major renovation and refit. They are a pleasure to work with, enthusiastic and innovative in all of their approaches. We are absolutely delighted with our most recent renovation. They designed and installed, kitchen, pantry, laundry and boot rooms as well as our walk in wardrobes, amongst other areas, all of which have turned out to be fabulous. They more than met our expectations. I would never hesitate to use them again. Ardle and Mark and their whole fitting team are excellent, and all are. Just great people to work with. They understood our design goal and were thoughtful in designing to achieve our ideas helped bring to life our dream home.
